Privacy Policy

How UtiliStudio handles information.

Information we may collect

UtiliStudio may collect limited information needed to operate, maintain, understand, and improve the service. This may include general product-usage information and information voluntarily provided through feedback interactions.

Information we do not intentionally collect

UtiliStudio does not intentionally collect the content you enter into tools for product analytics. UtiliStudio does not intentionally collect passwords, authentication credentials, authorization tokens, or similar sensitive information through product analytics.

How information is used

Information may be used to:

  • Operate and maintain the service
  • Understand general product usage
  • Improve tools and the user experience
  • Identify and resolve problems
  • Respond to feedback or support requests
  • Maintain service reliability and security

Advertising

UtiliStudio may display advertising to help support the operation and continued development of the service. If advertising is provided by third parties, those providers may use cookies or similar technologies in accordance with their own privacy policies and applicable requirements.

Additional information about advertising technologies and available choices will be provided when applicable.

Cookies and local storage

UtiliStudio may use browser storage or similar technologies to remember user preferences and support the workspace experience. This may include preferences such as theme selection and recently used tools.

Third-party services, including any advertising providers, may use their own cookies or similar technologies subject to their applicable policies.

Optional Browser Extension (Local & CORS Network Bridge)

UtiliStudio provides an optional, downloadable browser extension (utilistudio-extension.zip) for desktop browsers to help developers test localhost, private VPN, internal network, and CORS-restricted APIs in the REST Client when standard browser CORS preflight or Mixed Content rules block direct browser requests.

  • 100% Local Execution: Requests bridged through the extension are executed directly from your browser on your local machine to the target endpoint you specify.
  • No Data Storage or Logging: Neither the browser extension nor UtiliStudio's optional server proxy fallback (when used for public API requests) stores, logs, or retains your API URLs, request headers, authentication tokens, cookies, or response payloads, nor is this data shared with any third party.
  • On-Demand Only: The extension runs only when you actively send a request in the UtiliStudio REST Client and performs no background tracking or browsing history collection.

Third-party services

UtiliStudio may use third-party services to support certain aspects of the product. Where applicable, those services may process information in accordance with their own policies and applicable requirements.

User choices

You can manage cookies and similar technologies through your browser settings. The availability of individual features may depend on how certain technologies are configured.

Children's privacy

UtiliStudio is not directed at children under the age of 13.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as UtiliStudio evolves or when changes to our practices require an update. The latest version will be published on this page.
